Testimonial

“I loved being able to find out more about the EU actually works and hear both sides of the Brexit debate from policy experts and decision makers who are on the ground.  It’s also been helpful for our forthcoming EU consultancy week– I’ve found out more about European investment as an alternative to UK investment and this will be useful when working with Irish businesses.”
— Rhiannon Ludlow, MBA Student, Cass Business School, London, March 2019

“We all enjoyed our time in Leuven and the students found the trip very useful overall. In particular, the students were excited by the speakers, and the sessions at the External Action Service were great and well organised so that was a great addition to the programme. Some students also found it every useful to meet with some of the NGO and trade unions people because they were interested in their career trajectory.”
— Dr Adina Preda, University of Limerick, School of Politics, February 2019

“The Irish College Leuven initiated contact with various organisations, booking coaches, planning refreshment breaks, sorting out gifts for guest speakers, creating room plans etc., and responding promptly to requests for changes to the itinerary.  This service removed so many logistical headaches that allowed me to concentrate on planning assessments and the content of the trip rather than the day-to-day running.”
— Dr Donal Mullan, Queen’s University Belfast, Geography Programme Director & Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography

“The overall quality of the programme was good and thank you, once again, for your help in organising everything. The trip to the ECJ was worth the early start. Also, I would just like to add that the students really enjoyed the visit to Business Europe and the speaker there was very interesting.”
— Dr Connie Healy, NUI Galway, School of Law, January 2019

“A huge thank you to everyone at the Irish College for the wonderful welcome and support you gave.  Our students thoroughly enjoyed their time away performing before large audiences and learning about our shared history together whilst representing Northern Ireland.    The facilities at the College are excellent and the staff in catering and on reception were very helpful.  I would have no hesitation in recommending the College as a base to other groups.”
— Robert Briscoe, Manager City of Belfast Youth Orchestra, July 2019
